Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026 entitled Guidelines on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education, the End-of-Term Block refers to the period between terms allotted for grade computation, conduct of co-curricular and extracurricular activities and competitions at the school, division, and regional levels, implementation of the ARAL Program, professional development activities, and wellness breaks for teachers and learners.
  2. In line with this, the following End-of-Term 1 Block Schedule of Activities shall be observed:

  • Teachers’ Official Time: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

SM No. 245, s. 2026 | ADJUSTMENT OF TERM EXAMINATION SCHEDULE FOR DSPC 2026 PARTICIPANTS
  • September 1, 2026

  1. In line with Republic Act No. 7079 (Campus Joumalism Act of and relevant DepEd issuances on the conduct of the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), learners representing the school in the DSPC 2026 scheduled on September 24, 2026 shall be granted extra consideration in their academic requirements.
    These learners are unable to take the Term Examination as scheduled due to their active participation in DSPC activities, which include:
    a. Submission and checking of all materials required in group events.
    b. Final orientation and intensive training for individual categories, which are essential for their preparation and performance.
  1. All identified DSPC 2026 participants shall be excused from the regular Temi Examination schedule.
  2. Concerned teachers are directed to administer the Term Examination to these learners on September 3, 4, or 7, 2026.
  3. Class advisers shall ensure proper documentation of the learners’ participation and coordinate with subject teachers for exam rescheduling.
  4. Master Teachers and Subject Coordinators shall monitor compliance and provide technical assistance.
  5. Immediate and widest dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
