SM No. 241, s. 2026 | NOTICE OF END OF TERM BLOCK ACTIVITIES
- Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026 and in consonance with Division‑led initiatives, the school shall implement the End‑of‑Term Block Activities from September 3–15, 2026.
- This period is designed to balance academic requirements with learner and teacher wellness, while also providing opportunities for professional development, remediation, enrichment, and participation in Division‑sponsored programs. Activities shall be conducted in accordance with the prescribed calendar and guidelines to uphold quality learning, strengthen teacher capacity, and promote rest and self‑care.
- Objectives
a. To implement remediation and enrichment programs for learners.
b. To provide opportunities for co curricular and extracurricular activities.
c. To allow teachers to accomplish academic and administrative requirements.
d. To participate in Division led trainings, workshops, and conferences.
e. To conduct INSET and wellness breaks for teachers and learners.
f. To ensure compliance with DepEd guidelines on end of term activities.

- Not all learners are expected to attend every activity mentioned. Learners who will not be joining any of the activities shall be given home‑based tasks for further enrichment and catch‑up purposes.
- Teachers are requested to profile their learners who will undergo remediation or intervention as the basis for determining official time during the End‑of‑Term Block.
- Teachers must strictly follow the prescribed schedule and complete required school forms accordingly.
- Master teachers and subject school heads shall monitor compliance and provide technical assistance if necessary.

SM No. 240, s. 2026 | MAPEH LEARNING ACTION CELL (LAC) SESSION NUMBER 2 ON DESIGNING COMPETENCY-BASED ILAW LESSON
- This office announces the conduct of LAC Session 2 of the MAPEH Department to be facilitated by Ms. Mary Ann M. Eduria on September 1, 2026, at the Grade 7 SPA room, Bldg.3 Room 205, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
- This LAC session aims to develop teachers’ capacity to design competency-based lessons that are aligned with curriculum standards, appropriate learning activities, and authentic assessment based on the ILAW format.

SM No. 239, s. 2026 | Conduct of Peer and Administration Evaluation via FEBIHS Website
- This is to inform all teaching personnel of the revisions to the previously issued memorandum regarding the conduct of the Peer Evaluation.
- The activity shall now include both Peer Evaluation and Administration Evaluation. Furthermore, teachers are no longer required to proceed to the Computer Laboratory to accomplish the evaluation. The evaluation form may now be accessed online through the official Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School (FEBIHS) website.

SM No. 238, s. 2026 | On-site Intensive Training and Academic Accommodations for the 2026 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) Participants
In preparation for the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026 on September 2–4, 2026, in the City of Dasmariñas, an intensive On-site Training for all designated campus journalists and school paper advisers will be conducted on August 26–31, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Banyuhay ng Kasaysayan (Audio-Visual Room if available), Music Room, Creative Writing Room (Bldg 3, Rm. 306), school library, and/or any available classrooms. (Refer to the attached schedule.)
Directives on Academic Considerations for Missed Activities
To ensure that student-delegates can focus on their training and representation of the school without compromising their academic standing, all teaching personnel are requested to implement the following accommodations:
- Excused Absences: Tag participating journalists as official excused absences from August 26–27 (training) and September 2–4 (DSPC competition proper).
- Make-Up Tasks & Quizzes: Grant reasonable extensions and schedule special make-up dates for any missed quizzes, long exams, performance tasks, or daily recitations.
- Flexible Deadlines for Group Work: Provide alternative individual requirements or adjust submission deadlines for group activities affected by the students’ absence.
- No Penalty Policy: Ensure that no academic point deductions or grade penalties are imposed on students for missing regular class hours due to school-sanctioned press activities.
- Learning Materials Access: Subject teachers are encouraged to share lecture notes, modules, or asynchronous task details beforehand so students can review at their own pace.
- Substitute Teachers for Journalism Coaches: Grade Level Coordinators are encouraged to support the teachers involved in the preparation of DSPC 2026 by providing substitute teachers who will oversee their classes while the intensive training and contest proper occur, respectively, starting August 25 to September 4.
General Reminders for Participants
- Equipment: Bring personal laptops, digital cameras, extension cords, art supplies, and reference materials specific to your category.
- Attendance: Strict attendance and punctuality are required throughout the three-day campus journalism training.
Meeting of the Journalism Coaches
The Office of the Principal is granting authority to the Assistant Principal for Academics (JHS) Freddie S. Bueno, also the school publication consultant, to conduct a planning meeting on August 25 at 1:00 PM at the SBM Room, together with the following school paper advisers:

- Lovely Ann B. Dean
- Ryann P. Maongca
The main agenda of the meeting is to craft the budget allocation for the registration and allowances of the campus journalists and coaches, prepare the needed equipment, and develop strategies in preparation for the upcoming DSPC on September 2-4, 2026.
