- The Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) Program conceptualized in 2004 was institutionalized in 2007 by Board Regulation No. 5, s. of 2007. The general objective of the program is to promote people empowerment in leading a healthy lifestyle that is vice-free and productive.
Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), Republic Act No. 12080 (Basic Mental Health and Well-Being Promotion Act), and DepEd Memorandum No, 74, s. 2021, Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) ELITE is mandated to institutionalize the Weekly ELITE Fellowship Sessions to strengthen peer leadership, promote a vice-free lifestyle, and offer a school-based mental health and values formation support for learners.
- This initiative aims to guide students toward a vice-free lifestyle through weekly values formation and peer fellowship. It builds moral character, strengthens emotional resilience against negative peer pressure, and fosters a compassionate culture of mutual support.
- The sessions are scheduled to take place every Wednesday starting November at Building 1, Room 201, on a shifting basis from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- This project is conducted in partnership with SOKSAY Society.
