Teachers, tanods mobilized to ease FEBIHS bag check delays.
In response to tightened security protocols, Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School (FEBIHS) had assigned teaching staff and barangay tanods to streamline mandatory students bag checks at the campus entrance.School administrators noted that adding extra hands, such as teachers, volunteer parents, and community watchmen, to the inspection checkpoints balances the urgent need for a weapon-free learning environment with the daily logistical challenge of managing thousands of entering learners.
The deployment aligned with a broader national directive to involve local barangay units in safeguarding school premises upon agreement on June 25 between School Principal I Jeffrey D. Penales, together with SDRRM Coordinator Giemar Besin, and the officials of Barangay Zone 1 and San Jose.

The boost in manpower ensured that the student body has undergone thorough security inspections, as mandated by the DepEd Order No. 006, series 2026, without compromising their valuable instruction time at FEBIHS.
Starting next week, volunteer parents from the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) and Homeroom Parents-Teachers Association (HPTA) will be joining the teachers and barangay tanods for faster bag inspection at Gates 1 and 2.
